Bodelwyddan Castle & LLangollen Pier | North Wales | Photo Journey

My lovely fiance Gemma and I took a brief trip to North Wales and visited a few sights during late summer. We left the house with no real plan of where we would end up, just that we would take ourselves armed with camera and the desire to explore our little corner of the world. It started with a drive and passing a view of a stunning looking castle on the horizon, that castle was ‘Bodelwyddan’ situated in Denbigshire North wales, set across 260 acres of parkland, with no hesitation we drove in and began to explore:

We then got very excited because we found ‘The Old Sweet Shop’, having a sweet tooth really got me gidddy! Lots of produce here is hand made in a traditional manor, amazing and well worth a visit we thought….

After filling ourselves with sweets and nearly being sick! we traveled down to LLangollen pier, the weather began to warm and later on in the day it was spectacular. I was also pleased to make a few animal friends on my trip (though I’m pretty sure that they may have just been after my chips!):

…..well we just couldn’t resist, you can’t visit the seaside and not come home without rock! I can quite honestly say I have never been on such a sugar rush since this trip. Cant wait to do it all over again!

Uber lovely Chris. Lovely place and a great document of your trip. Jealous of all the sweets too.

Really lovely pictures Christopher. Just a note – I’m from Llangollen, and I’m pretty sure your photos are of Llandudno, rather than Llangollen, Pier … 😉
