Johnathan & Jennifer | Engagement Shoot

Well!, quite a bit of snow we’ve been having over here. Originally we had planned this photoshoot for the beach on sunny and warm day, but the snow just looked too gorgeous not to go and explore and have some fun! We had the idea of visiting royden park, because of its natural beauty and wonderful views. We kept this shoot fairly short as it was painfully cold out, these two were so brave! These engagement shoots are the best way to allow a couple and myself to get to know one another, they can see how I work and ultimately how we will work together on their wedding day.

The place we went when we arrived was very close to a favourite wedding venue of mine at the Hilbark Hotel when I had the great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Karen and Micheal. The fun experienced here is genuine and they weren’t the only ones having an absolute ball (despite the numb fingers and toes!). Amazing people, amazing fun, just check these guys out:

And safely home to get lovely and warm, and got a lovely welcome from Toby the cat…
