Dewsall Court in Hereford is one of the most beautiful locations that I have ever had the pleasure to photograph a natural, rustic wedding in late summer of last year. The bride, Hana, is in the creative industries herself and Dewsall was just the most perfect location and it’s visuals as you will are more than suitable for their plans. I had the great pleasure of working with Rhys of Furball Films a super creative videographer.
The groom, Anders who is originally from Sweeden, flew much of his family and friends to be present at the wedding. The day was beautiful, perfect light and a stunning natural location. St. Johns LLanrothal church was very old location and rarely used for such events, but they made an exception for these guys. The church is just by the river Monnow and was rescued from ruin in 1921, inside is a medieval, very rustic interior which for me as a natural photographer had the greatest light pouring in through the windows, dramatic and moody! The service had an amazing gospel choir, possibly one of the most talented I’ve ever had witness to!
After the service we all returned to the gorgeous Dewsall Court and enjoyed lawn games, coconut shy and exquisite canopies before moving into the speeches in a beautifully decorated room… just see for yourself below. A wonderful, natural and rustic wedding day, one I shall remember always.
