Cragwood country house is a wedding venue in Ecclerigg. It overlooks Lake Windermere – perfect! This year they have been voted ‘best wedding venue in Cumbria’ in the 2022 North West Wedding Awards and it’s clear to see why.

This gorgeous venue is set in 20 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and woodland. This grand Edwardian country house hotel is the perfect setting for any wedding day.Cragwood country house can accommodate up to 80 day guests and 120 evening guests and are all available seven days a week. They also do a ‘just us’ package – perfect for elopements.

If you want peace, tranquillity and a warm, welcoming atmosphere then this venue is for you. Perfect for those who love the countryside and want a wedding in a historical location full of charm.
