I love the Lake District and in particular Honister slate mine is a personal favourite as it has some fate best roads in the country along with the best views! Honister pass is a stunning place for a visit. Laura and Ben wanted to visit a location in the Lake District that was exciting and dramatic and Honister is a place I have wanted to have an engagement shoot for a long time. Rugged, dramatic mountains as far as the eye can see, a ribbon of road leading into the far horizon… just perfect for an engagement shoot! Laura and Ben are to have their wedding at the Granary Barns in Suffolk later this year, I cannot wait to see these two again, they had such a great time exploring the Lake District.

Hi CHRISTOPHER
Thanks you for sharing your images of Honister pass. The Lake District is amongst the most beautiful places I have ever travelled in the world. I have visited the Lake district around 65 times starting from way back in 1976 when we has one of the hottest summers I can remember in the UK. Each time I have visited the Lake district I have always spent at least 4 to 5 days at Honister pass and have stayed at the Honister Youth hostel. My partner and I yet to get married and were looking to marry in St Lucia Caribbean. I must say that I could easily get married at Honister pass. This is a truly unique place and I love it.
