For the coverage you’ll receive around 300-400 individually edited photographs, but this can vary slightly.

Do you require a deposit?
There is 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your date. This will guarantee that no else gets me for your date. The remainder can be paid off at any point up to one month (30 days) prior to your wedding date.

How long will it take to receive our photographs?
The average editing time is between two-four weeks depending on the time of year and peak wedding season, June-September.

How do we receive the photographs?
You will receive the edited photographs on a personalised USB with a copy both in high-resolution for printing as well as web-resolution versions for easy web uploads/social media sites such as Facebook.

How do you describe your photographic style?
My style of wedding photography concentrates on capturing the moments and details of your day in a mainly fine art approach, your images will be timeless and iconic, captured naturally as the day unfolds. I like to take the bride and groom for half an hour or so after the ceremony for a private set of images. This will also allow you to have a few quiet moments and enable us to get a selection of beautiful photographs of you two together.

What type of people do you work with best?
I tend to attract creative types that appreciate really creative and artistic images, its no surprise I attract those of an arty persuasion. I photograph in a contemporary style & best work with couples that are relaxed & don’t wish to be directed constantly.

Do you require food during the day?
It would be great if food could be provided at your location, photos of people eating are not particularly flattering so this usually coincides well if I can eat at the same time as you and your guests do.

Are you insured?
Yes of course, for your piece of mind as well as my own. I would not go anywhere as a photographer without this vital piece of security.

What cameras & equipment do you use?
I am unashamed to admit that I am a massive gadget nerd! I use the best (and consequently very expensive) camera bodies and lenses available. I also use cutting edge computers and editing software.

How can we book you?
If you are interested in booking me to cover your wedding, please simply e-mail me to let me know the date of your wedding and the location where you will be 1) getting ready, 2) having the ceremony and 3) having the reception. Please click the contact button in the main menu bar or like/add me on facebook to chat further about your plans.

Were having a smaller wedding, do you cover these as well?
Yes! this is no problem, please get in touch and we can talk about this further.

Do you photograph weddings abroad?
Yes I do, please get in touch for more information about pricing and whats involved.

Can we meet you before the wedding?
Yes, i love to meet all couples before their wedding to go through all the details of the day. If this is not possible due to distances then i will always be available by phone, e-mail or Facebook.

What areas do you cover/will you travel to?
I am happy to say that no distance is too great. I’ve had weddings at the very extremes of each end of the country. I love to travel and don’t mind staying in a hotel a day or so before your wedding day to make sure I’m close by. Just a few locations I have covered to give a general idea: Wirral, Chester, Cheshire, Liverpool, Manchester, Lancashire, Yorkshire, South Wales, The Lake District, Scotland… the list goes on.

I also cover weddings and elopements abroad and have visited Geneva in Switzerland, Italy and other locations.

eco policy

Being Green

Being eco or ‘green’ is of great moral value to me as I believe it is our responsibility to be consciously active in preserving and maintaining the environment.

With all of the effort I put into practise I always maintain the high quality service my clients value. It is important that my suppliers share this approach and it turns out that many of my clients do also.

It’s a great sign that people are aware and conscious of how what we do affects the environment those around us both now and in the future.

These are the efforts and policies i employ:

I only use rechargeable batteries in cameras and flashes (sanyo eneloop which require charging less often)
Documents are printed as little as possible, paper is used is recycled and printed on both sides
I refill my ink cartridges and reuse envelopes and boxes for posting
I work from home which saves on energy and costs
I use recycled paper for my business cards and promotional materialsI use recylced, shredded paper for my USB box contents
