I first met Kayee and Mat for their amazing proposal in Bath City centre which I was hired to shoot. I set up my tripod for a photo on a timer but what they didn’t realise was it was a video so I knew I’d capture the moment!
We met up for a second time for a Lake District couple shoot in Autumn 22. Neither of them had been to the Lake District before so I was very excited to show them just how amazing of a place it can be – even when the weather forecast is for some crazy rain! When you Elope in the Lake District you need to be ready for any weather but it is even more amazing when you embrace it just like these two did.
When we first met, they had told me that they both loved exploring new places and are definitely into trying out unusual foodie restaurants. They said: “When the sun’s out, we’re most definitely outside Sunbathing or walking and relaxing.” They definitely are the adventurous type! Though there was no ceremony on their shoot they dressed up in their wedding clothes and we adventured together and embraced the wet and wild nature of the lakes creating the most amazing photographs for them as well as some very beautiful moments!
