Well what a wonderful elopement day this was! A very natural, relaxed elopement in the heart of the stunning Lake District with just a few close family and friends I will never forget this wonderful day in Ambleside. Loughrigg Cottage in Rydal, Ambleside was a place I was very excited to visit as I have heard many people talking about how wonderful a place it truly is and it didn’t disappoint.

Intimate Wedding in the Lake District

The ceremony was at Cockermouth Town Hall which was an intimate little ceremony with the 7 guests and then we made out way to the cottage for wonderful food and amazing views. Check out this awesome recent elopement in Scotland, it has similar vibes from this intimate wedding here. Anna and Alan wanted to focus on the intimate aspects of their wedding, similar to an elopement in the styling.

Loughrigg Cottage a Beautiful Elopement Venue

It was great to be back in Ambleside once again for the elopement of Anna and Alan on a stunning day. Loughrigg Cottage with its very close proximity to Loughrigg Fell is perfect an elopement in the Lake District, it offers amazing views. Refurbished in 2014 it once was host the the president Woodrow Wilson, who stated it was ‘one of the most beautiful places of all.’
