It is always wonderful to return to Silverholme Manor for a wedding. It is one of my favourite venues in Cumbria. Alison and Robert chose to have a Tipi on the grounds as well, which was an amazing idea! I have covered many weddings here over the years, you can see another wedding I did here a little while ago with the awesome Jen and Will.
The Lake District offers many amazing wedding venues and Silverholme is one such place that offers everything; a stunning manor house, superb grounds for you and your guests and incredible lakeside views! The bride, Alison, started the day for prep in one of the manor’s stunning rooms and then on to the amazing St Micheals Church in Hawkshead. Once their lovely ceremony was over we then headed back to Silverholme and on to the celebrations in the tipi! Silverhome features in my top 10 wedding locations in the Lake District.
My favourite photo from the wedding is the one below. I love the light and the disco ball. They’re completely lost in the moment. I always feel this is what weddings are all about.
