I am so pleased to share the amazing wedding of Jennifer and Silviu at the Stunning Thornton Manor, a wedding that happened despite all the odds! Thornton Manor is a luxury wedding venue on the Wirral which is a grade II Elizabethan manor house which is an absolute sight to behold. The day was beautiful, sunny with clear skies which was wonderful for them and their guests to enjoy walking in the the grounds and stunning surrounds.
Thornton Manor is a wonderful wedding venue and one of my favourite places to host an elegant and wonderful wedding such as this one! I have photographed weddings there numerous times and you may recall the wedding of Cora and Jason some time ago, another wonderful day at Thornton. Jennifer and Silviu chose the location as it is a place of real beauty and they saw how I had captured weddings here previously and knew I was the photographer for them. Using my natural and fine art approach to wedding photography it is a perfect marriage of styles for their day.
You can always have a wedding even during the most trying of times and it is a real testament to couples that plough forward and embrace such situations. Jennifer and Silviu had a very small number of guests at their wedding and they also chose livestream their wedding to those that could not attend and it was a real joy to have a beautiful intimate wedding in this way. Covid may not be going away soon but it doesn’t mean you cannot have the wedding day you want, as a good friend has said many times “love isn’t cancelled” and you can still have a wonderful day no matter what.
