Trevor Hall in Llangollen was the place that Carlie and Dan chose for their natural wedding, a place that was special to them as it is one they visited many times together. You may recall their engagement shoot also in North Wales recently. Trevor Hall has a stunning dilapidated orangery on the grounds which I just knew would be perfect for a photoshoot with the couple a little later on! They had some interesting things planned throughout the day including a very Welsh tradition of wellington boot throwing! All the guests at the wedding had to participate and see who could get their boot the farthest. This was a very interested challenge to photograph indeed!
I absolutely love North Wales for a wedding and being a wedding photographer at Trevor Hall in Llangollen is a real treat as it is such a wonderful place to host a natural wedding. The hall is stunning, fulled with amazing art and amazing light, a photographers dream! Dan wrote an awesome song for Carlie at the end of the evening as a surprise, the emotions were felt around the room but especially with Carlie. Plenty of smiles, tears and joy, what a wonderful day this was for everyone and one I will never forget. Check out the photographs from their awesome wedding at Trevor Hall.
